I am an Emmy Award winning, highly skilled and creative journalism professional with a broad range of experience encompassing; News/Sports Anchoring, Reporting and Writing. I also have extensive experience in professional “live shots”, breaking news and in-studio reporting.
My love for Broadcast Journalism began in 2015 when I started announcing my high school varsity basketball and baseball games “live” on YouTube. I continued my journey through college, at Eastern Illinois University, where I wrote/anchored news/sports and had produced for our “live” 30 minute news broadcast at WEIU News Watch in the 88th DMA. I also broadcasted volleyball, baseball and softball for the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Digital Network. I was also a beat writer for baseball, softball, men’s tennis, women’s golf, men’s golf and men’s soccer teams at The Daily Eastern Newspaper. I was also an on-air personality for WEIU Hit-Mix 88.9.
I received my B.A. in Journalism, Sports Media Relations in May of 2020 from Eastern Illinois University. I also have extensive coursework in Kinesiology.
